Photoshoots and stories’ series of women published between 2016-2021.

During the “feminist spring” that broke out in Brazil’s biggest cities in 2015/2016, Nathália Oliveira and photographer Renata Spinelli united to create a platform to publish inspiring stories of different women.

​

With no curation or previous criterion, dozens of women accepted to have their stories told and published weekly on the Powerful Women Project official page.

​

In 2018, a blog was created on the official page, to be a space of opinion and debate of different subjects of the feminist agenda. Along with the blog, a new section called Novos Olhares was created to publish women stories with the collaboration of photographers based in Berlin, Paris and Lisbon.

In 2021, the Project officially ended its activity, existing now only as a historic register and a living memory of women that will keep inspiring readers from now and in the future.
